We usually wake up around 7am (including
weekends) The dogs are let out into the garden and given fresh water, we have our breakfast and then we all go out for
a walk, over the Downs, the Beach or the Park, we come home and the dogs get fed (if they have breakfast) any dogs that do
not have a breakfast get a few treats to nibble on. If its not too chilly outside the back door is left open for them,
so that they can play all day in our 90 foot garden, we provide tennis balls, a pool (for hot days) a trampoline for
either shade or to play on (yes some of the dogs love to leap up onto the trampoline) The dogs generally play a lot of
the day and also sleep a fair amount, if they want a cuddle or some attention I am always here to provide it, my husband
and other family members are often around to help with walks and feeding (they are also covered by the business insurance),
all the dogs are different and we cater for all ages and breeds, some of the older ones who want to relax in peace will often
follow me into the dining room and fall asleep at my feet while I work on the computer, dogs tend to have a lot of respect
for each other and they get to know the rules of Komfy K9, i.e No fighting, chewing furniture or getting on my sofa (they
have their own) The dogs get at least one good walk a day, any frailer dogs or puppies will have a less strenuous exercise
routine.
We provide: Beds and a comfy sofa for the dogs, tennis balls to chew or chase, fresh water and
water bowls. You provide: Their lead, collar with name tag on, Their own food (enough for their holiday) any bedding
(with their own smells on) any toys they like, however, I can not promise that the toys will be intact when you come to collect
as the dogs love playing with each others toys, more than their own! (It helps me if you label food with their names)
You are welcome to provide a food bowl if you like or we can use our own.
I am here with the dogs full time, apart
from when I am shopping and doing normal daily chores or popping out.
We strive to keep to your dogs normal routine
as closely as we possibly can, taking into account the other doggy guests staying here and trying to fit into their routines
also.
We ask that your dog is flea, worm and lice treated before each stay and that they are friendly towards other
dogs.
I am a qualified dog trainer, the dogs sense I am confident with them and tend to always be on their best
behaviour, its very rare for problems to arise during their holiday with us. They make good friends when they come here on
a regular basis and its lovely when they recognise their favourite friend is staying at the same time that they are!
Please feel free to call Cheryl just to chat or ask any questions that you may have. I like to meet owners and dogs
here before any holiday stays, you can then see how your dog is in our home, this often reasures owners that the dogs are
settled and happy here. THEY COME, STAY AND PLAY, WHILE YOU ARE AWAY!
