A bit of background.
We are a family run business living
in Bexhill-on-Sea.
Home from Home Dog Boarding & Pet services in East Sussex & surrounding area's.
Dog walking, Dog training, Dog sitter, Doggy day care, Cat feeding and care, Small pet care, in fact, any aspect of pet
care, although I'd stop at Spider's!
Me. (Cheryl) Apart from being an avid
dog lover I care deeply about all animals, I am qualified to SVQ level 2 in animal care and dog training, this took
me over 3 years. The animal care studies include first aid for animals although my main interest is dog behaviour and
wolf studies. I have 8yrs experience in animal boarding and over 14 years dog training, I am insured with Cliverton
(Through Petsitters Alliance, specialist insurers for pet sitter's, house sitters and dog walkers, This includes
cover for dog training) I am also CRB checked which is renewed annualy. All of the above documents are available
upon request.
Since I was a small child I have
loved Dogs, "Obsessed" my mother would say! I blame my Dad and Grandad, they where / are just as bad if
not worse (runs in the blood.) Even as young as 3 years old I would outstretch my arm's to any oncoming dog
(much to my poor mother's horror.) And I'm still just as bad now, Often I have said "Hello" to some
pup or adult dog only for the owner to reply "Oh hello", Sadly I would have to reply "Oh er sorry,
I was talking to your dog!" (says it all really?)
I'm just as bad with Rabbits, I have kept,
bred and shown rabbits since I was 12 years old!
Bit horsey mad in my younger years, sadly I dont have the
room or time for one of my own.
Rats, In my opinion, as good as dogs, creatures with great minds and obedient.
There are many pets I love and care for, all of them different!

Why I started on this path. I first started to study the way a dog's mind works when I was 25 yrs old (i'm
in my 40's now) And the reason I started? Sacha, Sacha was my very naughty sable german shepherd,
she chewed a brand new sofa and would not come back when called, I would often be seen running around the estate we lived
in screaming at her, she would just run away from me! A
man was watching all this comotion and simply said to me "Have you thought about running AWAY from her?" I stopped
running and screaming! "Pardon?" I replied (thinking he was obviously crazy), "Try it" he told me,
So I did, calling her name as I did it, she stopped in her tracks and came bounding over to me, So I went and bought my first
canine psychology book and read it from front to back. For
many years I helped my friends solve problems with their dogs and when I was about 35yrs old, my mum asked me why I wasn't
doing it as a living ( I was a banker and hated it) So I started on my new path. I
am : A Dog Walker, Dog Trainer (Any age), Dog carer, Dog first aider, Dog Sitter, Dog boarder, Dog crazy.
